Tim Jones and Ben Morgan-Brown are a new folk duo from the edge of Dartmoor. They perform original material and traditional songs from Devon and beyond, playing both with a sound that owes as much to acts like Bill Callahan and Wilco as to the folk club circuit they are part of.
Tim is an acclaimed folk singer and songwriter; his 2017 album with The Dark Lanterns, Blossom & Fruit, was named fRoots Editor’s Choice. Ben is a guitarist and countryside ranger whose instrumental records and Acoustic Review channel have won him a following well beyond folk, and whose playing Joe Henry once called “just beautiful.”
Their first EP together, Strange Greeting, came out in April 2026 and they are available for booking now.
